Nina has been tattooing for five years and has a style that’s heavily inspired by East Vancouver street culture and 90’s tattoo trends that she reappropriates for a contemporary context. Nina splits her time between university and tattooing so check her instagram bio to see if she’s accepting new clients.
April-Lee Rivera @jalapenospring
April has been growing into tattooing for the last year and has developed a recognizable style that sets her apart. April’s work expresses darkness, etching style aesthetics, and a personal occult symbolism that is entirely her own. April takes on both custom and flash tattoos, and has a plethora of designs to choose from in her flash book.
Rachel Clark @rachelclarktattoo
Rachel is a tattooer of 4 years who started her tattoo career on the Sunshine Coast and moved to Vancouver last year. Rachel’s work is traditional with a dark surrealist blackwork vibe. Rachel’s booking process can be found on instagram, as she almost always has her books open.
Jean (tenderboy) has a style unlike anyone else. His work is expressionist, textural and focused on creative mark-making. Jean has sketchbooks with flash to choose from. Their exuberant experiments in tattooing are boundary challenging in our industry and we’re lucky to host Jean during their stay in Vancouver. Jean only does flash tattoos, and does not accept custom requests.
